For the first time i blew a fuse in my blazer. i so tried to replace it with a new fresh one. When i reconnected the negative wire to the batter the fuse blew. I then repeated it again with another fuse. For the final time i removed both positive and negative and got the same result?

Any ideas?

your power wire has a short. how is it routed to the rear of the vehicle? through a door jamb? firewall without grommet? is the amp mounted to a board and secured or loose? pics of your installation?

i drilled a hole thorough the kicker panel and lead the wire through it then along the right side of my vehicle. i have done it before with an earlier set up and never had any problems with it. i was gonna ask if it is how big of a fuse im using? the amp is laying loose in the back behind the seats.

Well howbig of a fuse is on your amp ? Thats atleast how big it needs to be.
although true he is blowing fuses as soon as he connects power.. you could put a 1 amp fuse on a 2000 watt amp line and not blow it without turning it up.. he has a short or something is blown or damaged

you need to trace the power wire. start at connections, looking for any stray strands or burn marks. then follow the rest of the wire, looking for nicks, damage, screws, etc.
this and... dont put a bigger fuse in there unless you want a fire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

alright if i do find any cuts on the cover over the wire do i need to replace the entire wire? also how big of a fuse should i use? im running a power acoustiks 2000/1D
