Blow Through design for Nissan Hardbody

Thanks...I started building the box today, I'll get pics tomorrow.... I'm going to try and make the back wall into a "false wall" and have the subs mounted to that. The box has 2 chambers, the box is 44x14x19 and the ports are 3x12.5 and 16" deep. I feel like this is the best work Ive done on building a box, All the seems are flush lol. Like I said, I'll try and get pics tomorrow.

I went out and took some pics today. I have to go by a camper store tomorrow to get an accordian boot to seal up the hole that I'm gonna cut. Ive built everything in the truck so I posted a pic of the door panels to show off. Anyways, I cant wait to get this thing done cause its gonna be awesome. I also plan on getting a HO alternator, and possibly a kinetik battery. I will also be putting sound deadener inside too. This isnt going to be a competition vehicle but, I would like it to put up decent numbers. Some of the reasons why Im doing a blow through is because I like to have the room in the back of the cab, I like to sit comfortably in the seat with it leaned back a little, I think the setup is going to look really cool, and it should be pretty loud.

Darn, I was hoping that nobody would notice. lol I got some diff screws that are suppose to pre-drill themselves and make a flush mount. For the most part, they did do pretty good except in a few spots like the one in the pic. Anyways, its my truck and the box is good enough for me so its all good.

The accordian boot came in today but I didnt get off work till 5:30 and it was almost 6:30 before I started on my truck. I only got the hole in the bed cut but I have a 3day weekend so I should get alot more done. I cant wait to cut through the cab tomorrow and get the fake back wall made. I will try and have more pics for tomorrow and here is what I have now.

Plasma cutter FTW. Make sure to use silicone to seal the rubber boot and give it a leak test to make sure water doesn't get in the cab.
My dad does own a mechanic shop but since it was 6:30 he was already home and it was too late for us to go to the shop and use the plasma cutter. I work at a paint store and got some silicone sealer at cost for 1$ lol.

update for today....pics included

Just finished cutting through both walls and thats my nephew sitting in my truck.... he's as good helper

test fitting

getting the "fake back wall" to curve along the floorboard

I traced the port from the back then drew in the sub cutouts

with the back of the box screwed on

If a mod. wants to move this to the build log section then that would be great. I didnt think I would be keeping a build log on this but one thing led to another. Sorry for not starting out in the build log section.
