Ok i have a 90 1500 single cab truck and want to use some of the bed to put a nice setup in there. I am going back and forth between 2 or 1 18in fi btl. I dont wanna use the whole bed just like half. What kind box can a build for the back of there its a short bed but its plenty of room. Any tips I want it to be loud so i wanna tune around 35-38 htz and wanna stay level with the bed. Any bed covers someone might suggest and how do i keep the box and subs dry ?

IMO its not worth all that trouble just for one 18". Now 2 18"s is worth it though and I would do that.

How do i set up the port ?? Should that count in port lenght or wat I never built a blow throu before seen them and really wanna try

You won't be able to fit two 18's and only take up half the bed.

My box takes up half the bed and it's only a 12 cubes. And to fit the four 12's I had to do a clamshell, so half of that isn't even airspace for the subs.

Any bed cover should work.

My buddy did a 4th order bandpass blow through in his single cap ranger with a single 18" Solo X. It does a 153.3db outlaw at 35hz. It think the box is 18 cubes and he still has enough room for his 5 batts and amps in the back. Its also below the widow line. Extremely impressive for one 18". Here are a couple vids of it.
