But alcohol doesn't go STRAIGHT to the liver. And your BAC isn't measured at your liver.
A healthy liver can get rid of 1% of a BAC per hour, so .01 per hour.

Means if you are a .08 it would take at LEAST 8 hours for your body to get back down to .00

Also, your weight and how often you drink has alot to do with your BAC

If you are bigger and your body is used to taking in 12 beers a night. The alcohol won't effect you the same way it would a skinny guy that just starts drinking. I'm not totally sure if your BAC will be lower, but I know that you won't be as impaired

BAC will be the same with tolerance...you will just feel less impaired.

I believe the BAC may be higher for the habitual drunk as cirrosis of the liver ( even early stages of it ) will lower the livers ability to process alcohol, what does happen is the brain adapts to running with alcohol

Its a PITA isn't it?

I left a club and was heading to waffle house. Got pulled over at around 3 am. Got booked in and got thrown in the bull pen.

Had to stay in there with some weird mother ****ers until 6 pm Saturday.

If they had waited another hour to bail me out it would have been too late...and I would have been in there til Monday.

I didn't get a lawyer, I was ready to face whatever they gave me for my fuck up.

I did have a friend that works at the court house in a different city and she told me to ask for deffered prosecution. I asked the Judge and she told me to talk to the DA. He was cool and gave it to me and that was that. Just went back to court this first of this month after having to go a PO 3 times, and just get my lisence back also.

That was a real wake up call of where my life was going with the crew I was hanging with and what I was doing when I was them

Haven't drank in about 7 months, and I'm a big guy. Stopped drinking because I got really nasty and rude, but not violent.

i waited 15 minutes.

it gives an error message if you blow too soon.
