No, not my headlights; they are fine. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how I can wire up some sort of accessory lighting to my system that will make it flash with the bass. I used to have a friend that had a neon tube in his trunk that did this. I know alotta people think neons are gay and I do myself kinda, but I just wanna see if I can do it. I have some blue led's that I used to change the color of my gauge cluster.

I saw a DIY the other day that used LEDs wired with amplified speakers (Computer speakers) and the LED turned on when the speaker got power. I suppose you could do the same. However, don't use Neons. I'm not sure if neons would be able to take that much power. Use an assortment of LEDs. They can take any amount of power you throw at them as long as they don't short.

They also sell bass detectors. My brother's old PC had one. The light would turn on when bass hit. I'm not sure what I did with that sensor, or else I'd tell you model # and such. I just say Google it.

Oh, BTW... to wire the LEDS, simply connect a wire from the positive on the LED to positive on the amp, and negative to negative. Simple. I'm not sure if you can wire them in series... let me check.

EDIT:: Well, I just checked... unless you know a lot about resistors and that sort of thing, I don't think you can do it.

However, you should just hook up one LED to your amp outlet. The worst that will happen is that it shorts out and you lose an LED.

If it works, try to wire them in series.

And just keep trying.
