Blew My JL13W7

I have a Rockford Fosgate T20001BD. I have 2 kinetik batteries 1400 and 2400. I was running JL 13W7 I think I have blown it. What subs would you guys prefer to run with this amp. I think I want to go with 2 12" subs.

Well recently I took my Saleen to a show with no intension of competing...I just brought it for transportation....When I brought my CRX...A guy was competing there running a JL 13W7 in Street beat one a small SUV and he had a 1800watt cadence amp...extra battery...and some big ported enclousure....After he ran his street beat run which is a 30 2nd run getting an overall average of the Music...He did a 139 something....Well I knew I had a trunk system nothing fancy and a single DD 9510 .....Mine had about 1400 watts...I deceided to go ahead and run my car....I ended up with a 143+ average....Not bad considering I had less cone area and less power .. and a harder vehicle to compete in.....Plus mine sounded better and hit lower than the JL.....So my answer would be run Digital Designs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

honest question... Wats wrong wit prefab boxes? what else are we supposed to use. Thats the box I plan to buy, I have no other choice or opinions. Do you have any?

I hope you didn't buy that box...That guy was a scammer...As far as prefab boxes if you get a quality box they will do decent....the 143+ was with a prefab box...in fact I have two prefab boxes in my Saleen right now and it is doing 147's on two DD 3510's...Will I blow the boxes apart //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I dunno...but a 147 in the trunk of a car....on 2 10's is pretty decent score especially considering that is on a 600 watt rated competition amp....

Bloomer, WI is just north of Eau Claire about 10 minutes. Any answers I don't want to get Crazy Loud Just want something thats going to be able to run this amp full. And sounds really good. Want to use sealed an enclosure

If you want to run the amp full...Your better off vented so the sub can cool better....

You could consider some Fi Qs I have heard they are great and the price isn't too terrible, but I have never heard them to judge.

Awesome HU I have the same one. I would not want to sit in the vehicle with the system cranked! Ouch! 38htz for SQ though? The reason its hard to help a nOOb like the guy who originally started this post is bc instead of everyone helping with suggestions, ppl like xplorerdonon tell you their score andhow they havespentso much money on it, but doesnt help this guy at all. I personally like the JL line. I would suggest 2 W6s, they have really god SQ and can get pretty loud.
