Blew a tweeter on my PG RSD 6.5 Need suggestions

My right tweeter made an early exit. I replaced it with an Ifinity Reference I had laying around. Needless to say, the whole fronstage stinks. Looking to replace the tweeters with somewhat of an upgrade (if possible). Id say $50-$60 max would be the highest id like to spend on a pair of tweets that would pair well with the existing speakers.

I spent 69$ on mine...But i want an upgrade...Not the same stuff if im going to spend the money....

just for future reference, there's a link in my signature that shows a fairly quick, inexpensive and handy way to protect tweeters from being blown so easy.....

thought you might be interested in taking a quick look, it could save you $$$ in the long run....

I suggest getting rid of the whole set and get something more efficient.

I had them in my car and the only thing thats left are the woofers.

The tweeters and crossovers melted. The woofers are strong but for how long? i dont know.

baseballz13 can get you a set of CDT TW-22 tweets for around $40 and the CDT TW-25 tweets for around $50. Im pretty sure hes an authorized dealer.

I love my RSD set.. and still do. I was VERY happy with the performance for what I spent compared to what ive owned in the future (which is not a whole lot). I just definitely want to upgrade... I was thinking these Image Dynam
