Blazer + Solo X 18's= Fun!

I will take all the advice i can get. This is the first wall I have ever done so im the last persone to disagree on how it should be done.

All I saw was:

-resin on a flat surface, we all know this adds NO structural support with a layer of resin alone

-a cross member constructed of 3 pieces of a 2x6 for the top, outsides and port wall. As far as the pictures show, there is no bracing for the huge back panel. And with that, the back panel will bow way in and out (obviously). From what I've learned, this alone is not enough for the size of this enclosure.

-corners are stepped.. first time I've EVER seen that, which definitely does NOT promote smooth airflow.

BUT like the OP said, there are other pictures that must show

-more bracing

-triple layered back wall

-FB mat, not just resin.

-assumption that the corners are not stepped anymore

So evidently, YOU didn't pay attention to his reply to my post, or didn't pay attention to some of the things I saw. So which is it?

Good work sparkplug. I hope you didn't take this post or my earlier one as an insult. I still like the carpeting.

Really nice install man I like how u have those 4kw's mounted. Definately would do some electrical upgrades though from what I understand those Memphis's can be quite power hungry.

I wouldn't have done those 2x4's or 2x6's or whatever they are. Threaded rod would take up less volume, and cause less turbulence.

Ya after I found out about the all thread I already had the 2x4's in. Owell thats what cool about car audio........ Always upgrading

I used some bits in my drill to cut circles in the 2x6's . Still structurally strong, but did not take up as much internal space

Well I ended up doing a little upgrad on the electrical. And got both pods done. I just put the stock tweets and woofer in the pods for now to hold me over. But they still sound good so hopfully they will last lol.
