i need to run 4gu power wire throught my 99 blazers firewall, and i cant see any preexisting hole to use. and its such a tight fit in there , especially on the batteries side, that i feel pretty uncomfortable drilling a hole through anywhere in there. any one whos done an install on a blazer , please HELP.

i drilled behind the glove box in my s-10. i have the 4.3 liter v-6. should be the same as the blazer. just look really good before just taking my advice and firing up the drill.

sorry, but i don't have a better picture and my camera is broken, but if the antenna grommet for some reason doesn't work, there is a spot between all that crap on the left side. i ran 0 guage, so i'm not sure about angrytrucker's suggestion. he may be right.

no. you're mixing what i and angrytrucker posted. i went a different route using 0 guage wire. i drilled my own hole and brought it down behind/under the glovebox. he's saying that the antenna wire that comes from your head unit to the antenna has a grommet big enough to accomodate 4 guage wire. follow the antenna wire and find the grommet.

It looks like that, but it does come just under the heater box. Gotta do alot of crawling and looking around. I ran 1/0 as well so I just ran it under the vehicle.

And clean up that engine bay, that's disgraceful.
