Blaupunkt Class T Amp..

I have 2 Pioneer 12" TS-W31C [400W] subs in a sealed enclosure in a 01 VW New Beetle.......I DON'T want to change the factory head unit, because it's design goes with the dash and I don't want to alter it. My question is, since the factory deck is actually manufactured by Blaupunkt, I want to get a Blaupunkt amp.....is the Blaupunkt PA2100 amp any good? I also have the Blupunkt San Francisco HU, but I will only put it in if need be....but does the PA2100 amp give good bass response? I don't really care about it booming on the outside, but will it sound good in the inside of the car? My friend has a RF power series 450s amp, and I hooked it to my 12's and it sounded great....will the PA amp give the same if not a better response?

The 2100 won't quite put out the same power as the 450S. I think it would be in the ballpark, but you might notice a slight drop off in what you hear. I would, however, think the 2150 would do as good, if not better, than the RF you heard.

you would hear VERY little difference in the sound or loudness if at all, only by a few decibals. ok about the blaupunkt class t amps... you should be careful because these amps have that tripath chip inside them which can really screw up your radio. i wanted one a while back but then i lost some money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif i would still have gotten it because its a good amp. the amp is fine but you want to watch where you mount it, you want it to stay as far away from the antenna as possible because it does screw up with AM/ FM signals, mainly AM i think. they nice amps though and really small
