I am too planning on something similar to this but with 4 12s 2 12s being ran off 1 amp at 1 ohms I haven't looked into it yet but is there anyway to combined the bass knobs to have 1 bass knob for 2 amps?

yes if u run 2 aq2200s strapped ..one is.master and one is slave they run off 1 knob

How would I get more power out the amps all my 12s are d4s so it would be 2ohms all 4 or 1 ohm for 2

ok so when wired down thats 2 ohms ...on a pair of strapped amps each amp will be running at 1 ohm .thats what you want

Im not sure how strapping works? Would I be running all 4 at 2 ohm or would they be 1 ohm strapped? Care to explain im a newb at strapping

you would be running at 2 ohms strapped which means each amp is running at 1 ohm..theres charts on how to wire it up very simple..one amp becomes master amp and other becomes slave...then you only have to adjust settings on master amp...instead of trying to match outputs on both amps...also you will be able to you one knob for both amps
