bitrate from limewire

i remeber seeing something about this earlier but couldnt find it on search but what does the bitrate do when your downloading is it like the higher the number the better quality or something? slo do you lose clarity when played through ipod with direct connect vs. a burned CD?

i usually get 128 at the VERY least. 192 is the target for me. some will argue that high bitrate is the chron and others will say it really doesnt matter and its all shitty lol.

My Best friends dad can apparently hear the difference between 320, 256, 192 and I think everyone can tell below that

i can always connect...i used to have kazaa which was really bad then i just switched to limewire and i love it...i dont have any experience with other places though...
