Birthsheet question

i know this has been sold but I'm confused(as usual)The birthsheet of this amp says 702 bridged,now is that for all 4 channels combined or only 2 of the channels bridged.http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314680&highlight=planet+audio

I'm assuming since this is a 4 channel and only 1 set of ratings that these figures are for all 4 channels.

birthsheets are a crock...they have somebody filling in numbers on sheets all day betwwen a certain range and throwing them in the boxes.....do you think they are really gonna individually test 1000's of amps as they roll down a chinesse assembly line? not ....That is just a sales gimmick....

wasn't my question brother,I just want ballpark figures ,basically are those numbers for half the amp or all 4 channels but thanks anyways

that is an estimate of the 4chs bridged....so for 2chs....702 x 2

what do you mean for the other 2 channels?if its bridged, then no other power will come out the other channels... you must just not understand. when you bridge an amp, you use:

you can run one set of chs in stereo...one set bridged 3ch mode.....or bridge the front and the rear ch's to get 702 watts out of each...making it a 2ch amp

so you guys are saying this thing is that underrated,something doesn't add up.

well... thats called being "underrated", for example... right now im running a Rockford t5001bd right now and its rated for 500 @ 1 ohm, but the birthsheet says 1036 @ 1 ohm..... U N D E R A T E D

must be 702 total after you add the 2 bridged ch's about 350 each then
