Biostar M7NCD Pro Motherboard

Some of ya'll may recall me building a PC. Well, I am going to sell the Epox board and CPU. I was thinking of this, Biostar M7NCD Pro board with an AMD Athlon XP 2800 CPU. I already have 1GB Corsair RAM and an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card and other etc accessories....

I haven't really heard too much about Biostar motherboards. Does anyone have opinions on these boards in particular the Biostar M7NCD Pro?

All of my experiences with Biostar have been horrible. I personally would not recommend them. I would rather have an ECS than a Biostar, and ECS are pretty bad.

biostar is a garbage piece.

abit (my favoirte - im using a ABIT NF7-S with a xp2800 and a gig of ram, working great for like ... ever)

I run that exact same motherboard. It's horrible for anything other than stock speeds (I'm at 166 mhz Bus) but other than that I've had no problems.

Don't forget about MSI, very stable boards that tend to overclock well.

As well as Asus and DFI.

Not only is that motherboard out of stock, but I think it's about double the price of the Biostar.
