Bill me later?

credit to debt ratio?
Thats it.

That's the way I see it usually, but if it's something I have to have right away, and I have the option to pay half now, and half later I would rather do that, instead of taking it all out at once, and lowering my bank account so drastically. I'm needing a new heating unit for my house, and it's $1,200. I don't want to spend $1,200 at once, I'd rather spend the $600 on it now, and then next month pay the rest off. I found one at Sears that I could go pick up, but it's more expensive than the online, even after shipping has been added. I don't have a credit card, so I don't have that option, which is why I wanted to know how bill me later worked.
I hear you mang, I guess it if is big name tickets like what you need, then it would work. I just refuse to get another CC after I get these ones paid down. I will keep them as I know it is bad to close them and pay them all the way off.

Have you ever tried to get a CC? Try getting a gas card and pay it off every month and should help you out in that department to help credit score down the road.

That is what I did when I was younger, then got stupid with them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif

Anyway, good luck with the heating thing. Did it just tank on you.......the old one?

it was interesting - I was at Supa's mom's house last night and she tried to use BillMeLater after I sexxxed her, but I didn't know wtf she was talking about

Never had a credit card, don't need one. I have contemplated on getting one before, but at my age, I would probably go crazy with it, and it wasn't worth the risk. The unit hasn't went completely out, it's still going, but I have the keep the thermostat on 90, just to get the house heated up to 68 degrees. I thought it was the windows in the house, so I got those window plastic kits, and sealed the windows, still didn't work. Felt the air coming out of the heating vents, and it wasn't very warm at all.

You mean she stopped the food stamps? I need to get some chicken so I could bait her. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

The thing is I am sure bill me later has some ****ed up APRs in like the 20%'s or more. A credit card you will usually have a much lower rate.
I learned from my credit card experiences early on so I only have one for emergencies but I know most of these types of things have very high rates kind of like the commericial you see Gary Coleman on, if you read the small print at the bottom it says fucking 99% APR //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
The APR is 19.99% annually, which is extremely high.

They will not give you a high limit on your first CC. Maybe 300-500 in most cases. So you won't go too wild. Thing is be smart and not a dumbass like I was when my CC Score was 750 and kept getting CC memberships in the mail and signing up. Retarded!

How much those window kits cost? Looking to getting some for the apartment as they raised rent 30 bucks a month to help with heating issues as it used to be covered.

Yeah, I don't even plan on getting an "Emergency" CC. When I get paychecks, I put 5% off to the side every pay check. I throw it in my savings account, done. I use my debit card a lot... and if I run out of money on there, it takes it out of my savings. Problem solved. Not to mention I have real-time updates on how much money I have / don't have.

I found out through my parents that Credit Cards are bad... when they got a divorce they owed over 10K in Credit Cards... they split the bill equally, and they're still paying the credit card companies off. My Mom is only $200 dollars left until she is debt free. My Dad has... well, he has more.

I'm never gunna get a CC, it just isn't worth it. I'll only get one once I get a really good nice steady paying job, and only then to build up credit for when I buy a house / car. But even then, only within my means.

I don't want my ish repo'd.

There's been a string of thefts in Miami lately... they keep stealing AC units. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

You should steal a heater.

Yes, they are high. I believe close to 20%.

I pay high interest rates as well on my CC's because of my bankruptcy I had 4 years ago. Sucks! Will be debt free after this year though and staying that way.

Well CC debt free, lol!

I picked them up at walmart for $10 for a 4(or 6, can't remember)-window kit. They do help. My place isn't drafty anymore. I'm adding a doorway going into my kitchen, because it was a add on, and wasn't built square, so the windows have gaps, and so does the back door.
