Bigrick31's Sick New Project

i dunno a smooth flowing cowl tip hood would look sweet. or maybe go with a box cowl hood all personal opion. if it falls thourgh il buy the bag parts form ya //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
i think ill just cut a hole in the hood for now. go to the junkyard and find a hood that has more clearance and attach it to my stock hood. THe only thing thats gunna fall is my body droped nissan when im draggin on the highway:hihorse: another thing i have to do though is the frame was "Z"d so that way it could be lowered with out a notch however im going to install a notch so that way i can lay out with bigger wheels

Rick, dont cut a hole in the hood.

I hate that look, its so tacky.

My neighbour up the street ( guy with the mini truck on bags) did that.

Lets see some pics of it up not just layin frame

And no shocks must be a bouncy ride

the hole would only be temperary. but i got a few people coming over today to help me work on it and well see what we can come up with. i still have to get the truck up on jack stands and look under to see what i can do. the rear i will be re doing with a notch and making it look a lot better. there are shock mounts i just need to get shocks and mount them on the truck. ill seee if i cant get some more pics of it at ride heighth later today.

yay, me likes more pics !Was it a mexican truck ?

Dont lie now.....
no it wasnt a mexian truck. a white guy owned it. and we took a look at the truck today and it seems that i can drop the motor about another 2" before it hits the front crossmember. so that should be enough to fit an air filter with the stock hood. if not i found i can get a side loading carburator so the air filter can sit sideways. i would have gotten pics of it up but i need to go and get a "T" valve for the front bags so i can raise it up without the valves on it.

I was thinking you could just put some sort of CAI on it.

Filter at the front of the cai then tubing right up to the carb and some sort of box that covers it up but is shot enough so the hood doesnt hit it

P.S

I bet you could get it to hop with some faster valves and nitrogen

Duh:crazy: the valves i will be getting would be fast enough and if i ran some 1/2" air line and added a nitrogen bottle it would hop quite well. but im only running 3/8 air line on my valves otherwise if i ran 1/2" line it would drop way to fast.

ok so just got it running. i went out and drove it in a circle then came back and parked it because there is no radiator and i didnt want to over heat it. here are some pics of it lifted up
