here i am cutting away part of the firewall that was tubbed. the reason for this is because with my current wheel /tire combo the top of the tob hits the tire making it so that my truck wont lay out all the way
more cutting. i am also feeding the wiring harness throught the firewall so i can have it come through at a different spot. the location it came through normally would have been extremely close to my tires. so im moving it rather than taking a chance.
and here i am covering the old nasty wire with new wire loom to make everything nice and clean under the hood.

ok little news update. in 2 weeks give or take im trailering the truck to a friends house there we will cut off the back half of the truck. and build a whole new back frame. it will be made so that i will keep the most amount of space i can in my bed. right now as you can see fomr the pics my beds heighth ahs shrunk inside. we will also do away with the Z and notch it. and i will be switching to a cantilever setup or (6 link) in the back. in the fron we are going to make new upper controll arm (tube arms) so that they clear the bag mount and my truck can lift heigher and will will build A arms for the lower part so that my truck so that i can ditch the old bar mounts on my radiator support and the fron will be that much lower. we will also add in toyota spindls and hub + other stuff so that i can convert the truck to 5 lug as there are a better selection of rims for 5 lug. the back will be converted when my IRS from a mazda RX-7 comes along. just though i should post up the news for those wondering whats going on.

just wate. after that ill be body droping the truck to the door! and then chopping the top and then making the doors open like those on a bus or the back section of a mini van does. o0o0o0ohhhhhh yea i have huge plans for this truck!

oh an rick, u may as well stock floor it if u are going to backhalf of it. its really all of like 3 feet more tubeing, and you are doing the work already.

you know you do have a point. then i wont have to make a space for the bed. were gunna line up the bed as if the cab was done to the door so when i did the cab to the door it we could take out the spacer and the bed would fit. but i guess since were doing it all already we might as well do the cab as well. i just gotta have the truck running before sept 8th for this http://summersplashshow.com/ if i can get all this done and maybe get the truck primered 1 colour that would be awesome. i dont see why not i still have about 4 months to go and wil lbe starting on it in 2-3 weeks.
any yes elias the truck will be safe we do take that into consideration. i would hate to be rear ended and just have the truck crumple on me.
