rick, what year is this? ive got a chance to buy a non running/parts truck for 50 bucks. really not all that bad condition from what the guy says. its at the edge of his woods, supposedly no rust or very little if any. its an 84 nissan 720 i guess, whatever they were called in 84. the pre-hardbody like yours is. says he will do 500 with it running but not driveable. may pick up the truck, let him pull the motor, and give him the cash to get the motor running while i work on the rest of it.

mine is an 87 but i guess they also made the hard body that year also. all the old nissan trucks were just called pickups. the 720 has the special z engine in it with twice as many spark plugs. the hard body has flare to the fenders and a different fron tend only 2 headlights while the 720 hass 4 headlights upfront.

ya i know its not a hardbody, and now that u specified the 720 has the z24 motor, i know thats the model it is. hes still debating if he wants to let it go.

working on deadening the truck currently. im letting the spectrum dry right now for about 30min untill i add the second coat here are some pics

couldnt wate to order the second skin spray gun so i just went to a pint shop and paid $21 for an undercoat gun and canister

ok im about to go pipe my valves together and hook up shaved doors with home made popper

ok so shaved doors are on with a driver side popper installed and got a valve put together

shaved door yellow yo match the front!

took 6ft of bike cable and some clamps attached to the door handle (inside the door pannel) and you got yourself a custom made popper cheap and easy just the way i like my woman!

heres a layout of how the valves will be assembled i will have 4 sets of 2

valve all plumbed together

good luck on the bed, its a ***** IMO. the poppers should sell for millions. the deadner looks awesome, cant wait for more pics.
