the 5.3 is an AMAZING engine to work with. my firned's got a regular cab 2003 5.3. he's pushing around 400rwhp w/ no forced induction or n2o

my uncle got an 06 avalanch with the 5.3 he did one of those super tuners and a new intake and hes got about 320hp

heh, k&n is the best(and one of the only //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif) for this engine. there are a couple more though airaid is pretty good i think.

i FULLY recommend all 4.3 v6 silverado guys do an ls1 swap. I can get an ls1 w/ ****** for $1500 with less than 5,000 miles on it. as soon as i get the cash(GRADUATION!) thats going in

its a super easy swap, as far as engine swaps go.

i wouldnt spend too much money on engine upgrades for the 262; it just can't handle very much power and that money kinda goes to a waste.

You're going to have a fun time with 24s, and laying doors.

We did a newer body-style 1500, on 2500lb bags, to the rocker on 20s, and it was sick.

LONG process, and the stock floor is worse.

Hate to agree, but you'll NEVER get those tires under the factory hood/fenders. Pie-cutting is only an easy way out.

I played around with ours today, and he has enough room for MAYBE a 22 up front, and he's laying flat rocker. You could get 24s under the rear, but still not sure about laying door.

Also, no point in the bodydrop unless you're going to drag it like crazy...

and your doors WILL warp. Count on it. They'll wave as much as a beauty queen!

KP components bolt on 4 link and cantilever (otherwise known as a 6 link)

99-05 chevy 8 peice notch

pan hard bar and brackets

shock relocater kit and new shocks

new ****** crossmember

front air bag cups

50' of air line

air tank mounting brackets

just gotta get some 220v hooked up in my garage which im about to do in a little bit today. and starting sunday call up a bunch of buddies and were gunna tear this bad boy apart and start bagging it!
