Biggest jackass just came in my shop...

Some kid comes down, wants an amp/sub installed, has 2 JLW0's in a sealed box, an MTX Thunder6000 10" in a separate sealed box, and a Kenwood 2 channel amp. I tell him it's not a good idea to hook up the MTX sub with the rest of the system, that it will sound like poopy and whatnot. He just says 'oh ok'.

In walks his doucherocket of a friend. He tells me to just 'put it in series' and hook it all up and it will bang yo. I'm just like whatever, gtfo of my shop.

So I do the install, without hooking up the MTX sub, and call him up to come pick it up. He comes down, and I tell him I didn't hook up the MTX sub and he gets all upset and I tell him that he has a 2 channel amp that is stable at 4 ohms bridged, and if he wants all the subs hooked up, he'll be running his amp at around 1 ohm and I wouldn't recommend doing this, and therefore I won't hook it up like that because I don't feel like him coming back in a week telling me his car blew up or something to that sort.

Then, his dipshit friend chimes in once again...

"yo just hook it up in series and drop the ohms to whatever yo I do it all the time my system is bangin"

me: "Series would raise the impedance, not drop it. If he wires everything in series, he will see nowhere near full power from the amp"

him: 'whatever yo, hook it all up and itll do all that power no matter what'

me: 'ever heard of ohm's law?'

him: 'nah yo, you don't even know, I have had crazy systems yo. I had a Colossus amp'

me: I actually had 2 of them

At this point, the kid that owns the car starts shaking his head and chuckles. His friend tells him he'll hook it up for him, but he says he doesn't want him to, and that is the reason he brought it to a shop instead of having his jackass friend **** it up.

Douchecicle still made a few more jackass comments, but I ignored him, and told him that I'm not going to hook the MTX sub up because I don't want to deal with him coming back again. Kid is happy overall with the system, gives me a tip, as his *** of a friend leaves mumbling shit.
