big three with out a fire please

hey im trying to hook up my big three. i have the positive to the amp and the alt post when i try to hook up the negetive to the battery i get crazy spraks and when i get the negetive all the one it starts melting ****. what am i doing wrong please help

You should have eerything done before you connect it. Have the negative battery ground done, the alt to battery, and the alt ground all upgraded. Then connect the 2 grouns first, then the + battery terminal. What guage wire are you using to do this? And what amp fuse on the battery to alt are you using?

A bit of electrical arking is normal, but when stuff starts to melt that means that the positive has a direct line to the negative somewhere.

You will need to inspect all your wires and find the short.

you should have blown the fuse from batt to amp!

neither times that i tried to hook it up i have not blown any fuses. there is no short or pos to neg that i can see. i just dont know what to do

i dont understand it this is the kind of car i have so everything should be the same. but NO my **** lights on fire every single time

What's the order that you're connecting them in?
