When the ground goes from engine block to alternator casing, alternator casing to battery, the engine block is mounted to the frame and thus grounding the battery to the frame as a whole? Am I getting that right? But If my ground from alternator casing to engine block is to hard to re run could I also just drill a hole through the frame, and use a nut and bolt and paint over it once the wire has been connected? This route seems much easier but I am still lost. I just need to know If I could run the alt casing to frame, alt casing to bat. I already replaced one of the factory grounds with 0 ga that was right next to the batt(a 1 foot run)
