Big Spl Sub???

oh oh oh, and also what about the Eclipse TI Pro's, arent those supposed to put up some redicilous numbers also or no...??
as said before, woofers dont make the numbers...

look at art "shaker" turdgen's(sp?) install, a single 15" i believe that is doing close to 170...

the woofer itself accounts for very little in the actual output of the stereo. sure you could change speakers and gain a little, and sure speaker X may be slightly louder than speaker Y, but its all install dependent as well.

i agree with hoss...install dependant..

but as to woofer suggestion, i second the solo x. and it'll handle the power he's got..especially in a box around 5-5.5ft^3.....while most ppl don't believe it, the s18x is actually a good daily driver, in the right box. mine is in ~5.7ft^3, tuned to 36hz with 70in^2 of port (could use more port for output, plenty of port for daily though). it's quite responsive and sounds prety darn good.

it gets low too!! and loud. off a rated 3600wrms...

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif

None of these subs can take what he wants to give them daily....

Thats why no one mentioned the dds.

Lets see what happens when he give a 9500 5500w for a good 3 hours while hes driving.....

There must be something very wrong with your setup if it is not loud like it is now.

Wait loud for competitions, and loud for everyday use is verryy different (in most cases).

What are you goals?

ok first of all id love to see a one sub take 6500 rms daily and not blow, do what im doing, get a sub, get multiple amps, that way you can run 2amps for daily and 4 for comps, or get an amp that puts out enough power for daily and then wire it down or give it more voltage for the comps. either way do research before you go and buy something and have someone else do your research. not to be rude but it does sound like you need to know some stuff before trying to get loud as hell.
