Big Problem?

Hi there, I purchased 2 12" SoundSplinter RL-I's a while ago and bought a Crossfire BMF1000D to power them, so 500 watts each. They ran fine for a bit and then the rubber ring on the front of one sub (gasket?) started peeling off, the other sub worked perfectly. Well I just fixed that myself and kept on using them until recently, like 2-3 weeks ago, the subs will randomly cut out for a second and then turn on. It seems to me like it's a problem with the subs but I keep reading about low voltage issues so I'll be sure to check that out.

Now, that "perfect" sub only plays when I have my deck on high volume (47/62) which is my usual listening volume, gains are at a little less than a 1/4 up, no bass boost on the amp but +3 on the HU (Pioneer Premier DEH-8MP). It seems like only on fast hitting songs (Big Tymers - Beat it up and Ludacris - Get Back), the subs will start cutting out. On other songs like BME Click, the subs will work fine for a period of time, cut out a bit and then work fine again. Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this before?

I was looking at buying new subs but last night, I searched my problem up on here and every reply seemed to say voltage drops but if I turn my car on right now (it's been off for like 12 hours now), I'll still get that same problem with the cutting out. Realistically, if it's a voltage drop, shouldn't the subs play fine for a bit and then start cutting out? I do get dimming and I do plan to do the big 3 upgrade but I don't want to buy new subs and then have a dead alt or something after. Sorry for the long post, any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

IT is a voltage drop. If its cutting out everytime you get a hard bass hit, the amp is starving for voltage ans shutting down. Do your big three and start thinking about a better battery or a bigger alternator.
