Big problem, can I upgrade like this?

Must bust balls this hobby is full of e thugs and keyboard comando's. Personally i'm a keyboard ninja.... but i've had my arse handed to me by some delta force... keyboard regimen.

Thanks guys! And im really interested in a dd3515, i have a dealer kinda closeby and he confirmed in being able to have it in stock if I was interested. Im not sure exactly what amp I should get, I have options such as bc2000d on budget, or svc 2000d, (no not at 1 ohm obviously I knew that XD ) im reasearching now a custom box wih my dimensions. I just havent focused that much because ive been asking michael and nathan estimates for an alternator XD but thank goodness I can maybe stay out of that region for the moment!

Bro this is the first time I even start a thread about my current setup XD and it began only a few hours ago! I didn't deny anyone's advice, and I did set everything according to what you guys told me. All I wondered was if there was anything wrong with my electrical system and if I could improve my setup without having to focus on an ho alternator and/or the battery first

Thats literally the funniest thing ive read on this forum LMFAO.

And im definately not so interested in having the most rms, but mostly sq. Yet a w6v3 will make me have to sell whats left of my brain (for the rms)

a w6 only needs 600rms to be good, a sq1200 at 2 ohms with conservative gains would definatley do the trick and a custom box is a must though @CSCStang can hook you up with that though. all in all this should cost maybe 800 new, or $550 used

If you wanted a really big upgrade, I have some DD 9512h's I'd sell. You would need a large amp and plenty of electrical upgrades though.

A Hifonics Brutus 2400 would do the trick too..

Ahh yes both options are very good, what do you guys recommend more in the middle? Around 1000-1500 rms? (Remember I don't want to focus on electrical until after the first sub, i'll get a good amp now, then later i'll upgrade my oem stuff and get a second sub)

those options are VERY different subs the DD can take 5 times the power the w6 can. and way more than your willing to do on electrical upgrades. if that kicker was loud for you I'm sure you'd love a w6v3-12 in a ported box off 800watts. and you'll be able to keep everything electrical stock. I'm running like 1500 on COMPLETELY stock electrical not even big 3. and i dip to low 13's at most

but if you want more a hds312 is a nice option. theres plenty but we need to know your budget. right now your just looking at numbers and you just want to say "i have a sundown 2000, or bc2000" but if you don't need it don't spend the money.

you focus on electrical BEFORE the sub because that determines what sub you can get. you don't get a sub and amp without knowing if you can power it

Ahh very true. And no the kicker was not loud, its just louder than it was at 4 ohm (obviously), and yes I looked at number because if a dd 3500 series is at its safest around 1200 rms, i need on of those amps^ if I want to get one sub atm, then upgrade my electrical, then get a second dd, while keeping the same amp. I used to be focused on ssa zcon or aa mayhems and I obviously needed to upgrade my electrical (hence me getting estimates from singer and excessive amperage), but increased bills and more responsibilties have cause my budget to fall a bit, so now im looking for something that my stock 110 amp with big 3 upgrade can handle

With the dd and amp being about $1,200, i would say $1000 is my budget (not at the moment but in a couple of months) I have agreed with the opinion that one should save up more and get something you'll really like with good warranty than something cheaper that will have me paying for repairs, upgrades, and just "not the same", get me?

You can't get a big amp and run it before you upgrade electrical (unless you plan to run it conservatively at a high impedance).

by you saying the gains are at 75%, that lets me know that the gains aren't set correctly
Set it back to 4 ohms, turn the gains down before you burn your car down.

Research on how to set your amp gains correctly and roll with that for the time being until you can upgrade to better equipment

Everyone is so picky and judgmental of subs like those^ (especially on car audio XD ) , i thought that if I got a dd people would just shut up and enjoy it... I don't want to go too cheap then in a few months/years everything is blown or has no resale value :/
