big newb here...need some help

hey im new to this forum...i am 15 and i want to start installing a system into my car (my parents are using it til im 16 then i can drive). its a 1999 Honda Accord EX Sedan. I've been reseaching alot and i have some basic knowledge. I wanted to start off first with installing an aftermarket stereo. I've found a few that im considering...any reccomendations on thoes would be appriciated. what to look for...etc. from what ive researched ive been told to look for 2 or more pre amp outputs(i plan on having a mono channel amp to the sub and a 4 channel amp to the 4 speakers i purchase) with 4v or higher. I am trying to stick with a pioneer and an alpine...they seem to be the most popular stereos.and any other beginner info would be greatly appriciated.

Minimum of 5v pre-outs on new decks.....3v on older

somewhere under 250...i was looking at the Alpine CDA-9885...know anything about it?
