i have 2 aq sd 2.5 12" on the way and have a friend tht is selling his 1200 watt hifonix brutus amp for $100. is the sundown worth spending an extra $300??

If the Hifonics works I'd just buy it even though the Sundown is probably the better amp.

It wouldn't be worth it to me as long as the Hifonics functions properly.

The difference between them is that the Sundown will make rated power whereas the the Hifonics won't:laugh:

I would take the Hifonics, if you want to upgrade later you will get your money back easily on the hifonics.

Do the Hifonics.........and if you are not happy, sell it and get another amp.
