Im not sure what that is, looks like a support bracket to me. Is your battery still running down with the alt removed and did you test it for ac voltage yet?

31.5 volts of AC

check your grounds , more so the one from the engine to the body(tighten the bolts)

short with a wire some where from the accident. Wire got pintched some where. Get yourself a dc clamp meter and fine where the draw is

yeah the fuse box is right under the dash on the drivers side. where should i start?

some cars have it under the dash and under the hud.My jeep has 2 fues boxs under the hud and 1 under the dash
