ye but iraggi alts have been tested and they dont give out as much power as he says. mechman puts his alts on a dyno and sends you the results with the alt so you know exactly what it can do.

Iraggi dose. I've had pretty good experiences with him. But some haven't. As stated above though we abuse the hell out of our alts. And he has been a builder of HO alts longer then most of these companies. Eventually everyone gets a bad rep.

true hes been around a while but a lot fo the bad rep is enough that most people wont even bother.

as stated above they have been known to not do the power they are supposed to.

well i didnt test it myself so i couldnt tell you much on details. but i have been told that by people that tested it. make up your own mind. i went with the guy with a better rep, higher output alt... and the only guy that could make an alt for my car lol.

we cant tell you what to do with your money. just what we did with ours and why.

Not knocking mechman, but numbers on a dyno don't mean anything really. 300,335,315. Its as easy as that to state numbers.

dyno numbers mean everything when you are spending hard earned money to get that amount of power. the piece of paper doesnt mean much but you can always take it and have it tested and compare. if the numbers are different well you have something to fight with when you call to get what you paid for

Were, by whom, with what equipment? not trying to get on your case or anything, but testing an alts output isn't as easy as putting a multimeter lead to its +and ground.

ive only run 1 HO alt from EA

it did the job but when i took it to a local shop that deals with alts and had tested it didnt do 300amps

it was close but it was also at close to 2700rpm. the only time you will see that is normal driving not at a comp

with MECHMAN most he may sell you a 200amp alt but when tested you may actually have 215amps. when it comes to idle amerage hes the best ive seen so far

Were would you take it to test it at? how would they test it? This is all I'm wondering. I'll pull my 300amp Iraggi out and video tape it's testing if you give me the name of a place that will test it properly.

open the phone book and look under alternator.

I've been to 2 amp shops here in the I.E and both of them **** near laughed at me when I told them I had a 300amp alt. They told me the biggest alt made was a 175amper. Those are the only places I could think of going to to test my alt. But their a bunch of retards.

the place that told you 175 yes is retarded.

powermaster makes some for ambulances that do around 300 @ idle supposed to do 500 but i dont knowat what rpm range due to all that shit they have to power

well you dont have proof that they do put out what they say so you cant clear anything. just as i, since i didnt test it myself, cant confirm the bad air. so it stays the same

Ive heard of that company HO alternators that clammed to make a 500amp alt for military purposes.
And yes they were a bunch of tards, one place was M&M electric and the other name escapes me. None the less I didn't even trust them holding my alt.

now for the military vehicles i can say yes we had some very large ones

especially on my HEMTT fuel tank. then again they are on a 24volt system

Wrong, I ran my 2krms system in my silverado with his 300amp alt and just a single yellow top under the hood+ 100rms for the highs with the lights on at night. And got barley any flicker at full tilt on the they high way. There's my testing, real world applications.

and? i ran 2k off my stock 100amp alt and got a fair amount of dimming. so your 200 extra amps isnt doing much more.

oh and my mechman is pushing 3k with no dimming or voltage drop. its a 250amp. so less output, more consumption and better performance...

im not saying the iraggi doesnt put out good power. hell 200amps is still a lot. just saying they arnt doing that 300amps they say.

than what you described. look obviously we both have not tested these alts ourselfs and we have only used one HO alt. so who are we to even argue about this? its stupid. i like my alt and i feel i got something superior to most anything else. if you feel the same way about your iraggi, good. im glad your happy with the money you spent. thats all that really matters. we arnt the authority on alts here.
