i was wondering if im gona do the big 3 can i use nothing but power wire for both sides??? or is ther a diff between power and ground??

power wire and ground wire are the same thing...it's just wire.

It's alright man, we all start somewhere.

Sometimes red wire is labeled as "power" wire and black or gray labeled as "ground" wire but it's still interchangeable, it's all just wire.

the colors are just used to visually determine which is positive and which is negative, assuming installer used red for positive:eyebrow:

Just a tip: if you wanted to keep your hood looking stock as possible, use all black wiring, but use red/black ring terminals to distinguish between pos/neg.
