Big 3 ?

I mean if you already have the welding cable, Id use that .
No Dont have it I am buying the wire this weekend, I have access to it near where I live but it is about the same price as the Knu wire. I guess you could say which would you rather use as far as wire is concerned. And I suppose I should let you guys know that I am running 2 RD HW 9.0 amps so you know what kind of power I have lol

In that case, run the 4/0 from front to rear, but for the short runs under the hood for the Big 3, 1/0 should be just fine. When you run the 4/0 from front to rear, make sure you run one for power and one for ground minimum.

How many amps are the 4/0 rated at? What ohm load are you running the amps at? At 1 ohm, you have a potential of pulling more than 500 amps of current. I hope you have multiple HO alts and a large battery bank.

I guess what I am saying is that if you are running 7200W RMS, you should not be asking which wire to use for the Big 3.

Yea Thats what I planned on doing but I am just asking to get a better idea of how many feet I should order.

The 4/0 is rated at 550/600 at 50' So I'm pretty sure I'll be fine being that I only need about 20'. Yes Ill be running it at 1 ohm, and Yes I already have multiple HO Alts and batts.

I am just asking for the fact I have never done an install with this many watts, and I know plenty of people on this forum have. So I was just trying to get your guys input on it.

Thanks

Seth

The single run of 4/0 should be perfect for the system you described. I am not sure if you can find a 4/0 inline fuse holder though

Yeah you'll probably have to fab up your own fuse holders, but this is not difficult using ANL fuses.

Honestly if you can get the 4/0 LOCAL for the same price, go with the 4/0 for everything. Then you don't gotta wait for shipping, don't have to pay for shipping, and instant gratification is awesome! No reason not to. Moar wire is moar better.
