Big 3 ?

im wondering if i use a dual term battery (top and side terminals) do i have to land the 1/0awg wire on the same term as the factory wiring or can i land the factory on top and the big 3 wire on the side post terminals?

it does not matter.......

yes yo can run the big three on the side posts or you could run the stock wires on the side posts does not make a diffrence. as long as + wires are on + terminals and - wires are on - terminals

ok im guessin bigger is better for the wire, but would 2 awg be ok to use

whould using a yellow top optima vs a premium battery from a parts store make that much diff

im only going to be running two JL 8s so i may not even need the big 3

bigger wire is always better ( less resistance) however it all depends on how much power your running............ theres only one way to find out, run your system and see if you have voltage drops and or dimming etc. yellow top or any AGM batt will be better than a wet celled bat........... you will see a diffrence for sure

i can get 0awg batt wire from O'reilly auto parts for about that price b/c im an employee but can i use that power/ground wire

It should work, but nicer wire might make things easier since it is more flexable, more heat proof, possibly finer strands etc. Welding wire works fine too.

im only gonna be running 500w rms will i need it with the optima batt, or do i just have to wait and see
