Big 3 - wire too big??

I'm not going to say who but "somebody" told me I have the wrong wire ran for my big 3. I used 0 ga copper stranded wire from home depot (power line wire) this "person" told me that the wire is used for A/C current only and will not work as good as 0 ga made for DC. I was caught off-gaurd so quickly that i didn't have time to laugh, i simply stated that wire was wire

Unless you're dealing with high-frequency AC, it's not going to make a difference.

wire is never too big... thats like saying that your wire transfers too much power

It's power wire.. It might corrode faster (unlikely), but you really only need to worry about quality when you're passing a signal (music/noise).

The only reason car audio people use diffrent wire is because it has tiny strands wich makes it easier to bend. Most stock wire is like regular electrical wire found in your house.
