Couple of quick questions:

1) The Alt and Battery + run to a seperate box that is used for jumper cables becasu the terminals on the batt are behind (04 tahoe). Can I bypass this and run my 1/0 straight from alt to batt+?

2) I just got my 2 ED nine.1's and a 4 channel. Would 1 run of 1/0 to a dist block with 3 short runs of 4 awg be sufficient. I really do not want ot have 2 runs of 1/0, but I can if I must.

yes. 1/0->distro block>4 gauge. use proper fusing as well.

and yes you can run straight from the alt + to batt + (fuse it or don't. upto you).

If so, is 300 A correct?

it is dependant on the wire size AND YOUR TOTAL AMPERAGE DRAW. add up the total amps your amplifiers pull. then fuse to that size (

and yes it is mandatory to fuse.

even if your amp has a fuse, fuse the wire.

anytime you drop in wire size, you fuse it.
