Big 3 Help ASAP

So I have "started" the Big 3 upgrade. Running into problems already: 1) alt is on bottom of my motor so I can't upgrade the pos to pos alt until I can get some jacks 2) Impossible to find a good ground anywhere 3) I'm a little girl when it comes to unhooking my battery...(broke my keyless entry so my alarm sets/goes off when I unhookthen rehook and my negative post is pretty hard to get it off cleanly...see pics)

My main question is the chassis to block. There is zero room to move around. So I found 3 empty holes on my block. See picture one for my block issue.

Sucks man, I just found out tha all my wires are 4ga stock, except for one.

I need some wire though, so im comin over sometime ha

Well I have like 4 feet of 4awg and might have some 1/0left over from this..so i'll let you know..bump

i'm sure anything on the block (that isn't holding liquid or anything) will ge sufficient.

if you can, try and bolt it to the alternator bracket if you can. but anywhere on the motor you can find should be fine.

I was originally gonna use the alt bracket but if you saw my picture up there of where my alt is, it's not easy to get to. So I can't get to it until I can jack my car up this weekend. So I will just reattach that block to chassis wire and do my negative to chassis wire today before work. Then the pos to alt pos this weekend. Thanks. that's a nissan right.. maybe a maxima? In any case I wouldn't ground to the head, I think I'd try to get it down to the block, you might have better luck finding it from the bottom. As for the alt, if it's a maxima, you will have to com in from the bottom, it's pretty cramped and you may even have to drop the alt to get enough access to it to hook up the + wire to the alt. Anyways while you're down there I'd look for a new ground. Ummm actually if you have a multimeter check all your ground to make sure they are good grounds...

Its a 300ZX. VG30. That's my problem. I don't have any jacks so I can't get under my car til I get some or friends let me borrow some. The block place that I am thinking of/pictured above is on the plenum. I can't get down to the sides of the block without jacks.
