big 3 question

I have a 05 chevy malibu classic and my alt wires run threw my my starter. how do i go about the big 3, do i do it the ususal way are do i have to upgrade threw the starter thanks for any help

yep, add a wire to the alt positive terminal (leaving stock) and run it to a fuse holder at the battery.
