my alt normally charges at 14.4 volts or so and i ran the big 3 with 4/0 cable,, and the cable from alt to batt raised my voltage to 15.2 volts when charging, this seemed to high to me so i unhooked it and just left the big 2 on.. why is this?

15.2 ftf =for the fire,,,lol seriously is this a problem, will it cook the battery....? i wonder if my regulator is going out?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

No,thats probably true alt voltage output but with the smaller factor cable it lost so much and when you did the big 3 it kept the actual voltage..I bet after it warmed up it would drop to 14.8 or so.. Not to worry,15.2 is not bad at all and shouldnt have any negative affects on your cars electrical system.. Amp should slam though! lol
