Big 3 Question for a friend

A person that I know wants to know weither the Big 3 can... or will put stress on there alt. And wonder if it could maybe cause Alt. whine or any other sort of problem.

No matter what Isay.... or anyone says to him... his mind is set.

My exact words to him was "The big 3 is a temp. Upgrade to your STOCK electrical system. It will fix the problem for now... and work great... but eventualy you need a new battery or some sort of Alt. upgrade because this is putting stress on the alt with all of the light dimming you have."

Now give me and honest answer so Ican show him this thread.

lol, it doesn't put stress on the alt. also it could help your alt whine and not make it worse because your are improving the ground in your car. how can it put stress on the alt? it eases the stress because of the bigger wire it allows the current to flow more easily through the electrical system. plus you have to do it when you get an HO alt anyways. i advice you go to http://www.sounddomain.com and read the sticky.
