Big 3 question....a little different though

Well I have read a ton of stuff about the Big 3, but nothing relating to this. My question is does it matter if the battery is in the back of the car? My battery behind a panel that's behind my drivers side rear tire. Should I fuse it at both ends or just next to the battery?

Nowadays you don't need fuses. All modern batteries are internally fused. In fact it is better to leave off fuses. They just cause power robbing resistance.

It's best to have 2 fuses on a long run of power wire like that. One on each end. If one blows, you still have a long lead of unfused wire on the alt or battery.

That would wreck your battery though if you let the internal fuse blow.

I've got a fuse and fuse holder for you, the retard was supposed to install one, it's an ANL 1/0g 250 amp I think.
