ok im now stepping up from running 1200 watts total to my 2 12" type r's to 2000 watts total. so i am now going to need to do the big 3 to help my electrical. has anyone ever done this on a dodge dakota. my year is a 96. im hoping for some pics because even after reading the big 3 thread i still have no idea which wires are which. and which ones to do. if anyone would like to help me i would greatly appreciate it.

it does not matter what is what on the truck already..you are laying larger wire!!

run one from the batter positive to the alternator pos

one from the battery ground to frame/chassis

and one from the engine block to frame/chassis

I don't understand the engine block to chasis? Like the other 2 are self explanatory and easy but what do you connect the wire to on the engine block. And also do you think it would matter if you used the same ground on the chasis for the battery and engine?

the block to the chassis is probably because most cars batt is grounded to the block with a nice big wire and to the body with a tiny POS. if at all
