Big 3 on 95 Explorer? - Help Please

Has anyone here upgraded an Explorer?

I have a 95 Ford Explorer, and need a little help with the 1 of the Big 3:

Alternator (+) to Battery (+) I obviously know where the Alt is, I'm just unsure as to where to connect the other end of the wire at. It seems to go to a relay near the battery and then that splits off into other "parts unknown!"

take the black boot off at the upper rear of the alt, take that 10mm nut off and connect one end...then connect the other end to the battery.

What are you asking? If you know where the altenator is then connect one end of the cable to the altenators output post and the other end to the positive terminal on the battery...

Just making sure the wire goes directly to the battery, because my stock wiring doesn't. It goes to a relay...

correct. you have the option of fusing this wire as well, which most recommend..we didnt tho
