You are aware that all it takes is to replace the battery cables with some that have top post terminals? Or, if applicable, just replace the side post terminals on the cables you have with top post ones.

Thank god for side post extenders! I didn't really want to convert completely to top post, so I got a few, and now my power cables are 'top post mounted' on a side pos battery. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I have a '99 Vitara, with a 4cyl and luckily that alternator is easy to get to.
