big 3 in a mazda protege 5

i have an 02 mazda and i cant find th hot wire to my alt. all i see is a little plug in the back, theres no way i can get 0 ga in the plug. am i just over looking the hot?

can anyone help me out?

Follow your wires from the positive terminal on the battery and see where it leads you.
