Big 3, Ground from Battery to block question.

I'm having a hard time finding a good place to put my Ground wire from my battery to the engine block. Everything is crammed together. I can however easily run a wire to one of the mounting bolts for my alternator. Will this be ok or do i "need" to find somewhere on the actual engine block?

Generally not a good idea UNLESS the terminal is sandwiched between the bracket and the engine block. If the mounting bolt boes to a mounting bracket, it will not suffice as most brackets are not %100 metal.

From what I understand the alternator case is the best ground on the car.So as close to that as you can get would be fine.If you wire it to the block you will have more resistance for the current to pass threw(ie block, pistons, heads, etc.)When I got my Iraggi alt he actually recommends you run a ground directly to the case of the alternator from the battery.
