i am trying to do the big 3 upgrade

well i know how to do it but i was wonderning can i use stock ground points to do the big 3

also for the stock pos wire that runs down into the engine and under the engine that wire i cut from the stock termianls and i am trying to make that longer so i can connect it to my new termainals so its not so short

so where does the pos wire end at so i can run a new power wire or do i not need that power wire what does it do

i have a 2001 f150 so some of u with f150's plz help me out as in wat i should do with that wire or does it even power anything

ok there is a wire that connects to the pos terminal well actually two one goes to the connection where the alt wire connects right on the firewall i am sure you get what i am saying

then there is another pos wire that comes off the terminal and goes below the egine and i traced it and it runs all the way back to the back of the truck well wats the point of that wire and how can i make it longer w/o running 20 ft of wire

the one under the truck probably goes to the starter, not the back of the truck. why does it need to be longer?

because when i cut off the stock terminal they have on there the terminal extands like 4 inches to the battery terminal so when u take that off its 4 inches short and when connected very tight for the wire to be connected and no it doesnt run to the starter

if it goes all the waytothe back of the truck, leave it a lone, probalby for the hitch, the only positive i upgraded was from the alt to battery i believe

well when i cut off the stock terminal ford has attatched to the wire its very short and not much room to connect it to the terminal i will take some pics later

It most likely goes to the fuse box.
