ok i did my big three but my batt still runs at 14.36. i didnt get time today to play around with the amps but should my batt voltage have gone up?

u might get a smaller drop in voltage when the bass hits but ur voltage shouldn't be higher at idle.

i no that there is less resistance so that means more current flow. and it lets you take better advantage of your alt.

Replacing/adding larger wire to these three critical spots can reduce or rid your electrical system of dimming and voltage drops. Overall, giving your charging system a larger surface area to travel over, will stabilize power and relieve strain on the alternator and battery.

So if your voltage should stay around that 14.4 mark all the time and you don't have any dimming, then the big 3 upgrade worked.

Did you have a lot of dimming before you did your upgrade?

not real bad. te main reason i did the big three so that i could turn my gain up more. its at less than 1/4

I don't think that is a good reason to do the big three. The gain should be used to match the volume from the headunit. Its not a volume dial for the amp. If fact, it would be great for the amp to run that less than 1/4 gain.
