Big 3 difference

So I recently had a shop install me a stereo. Love it. It's my baby. 2 DB Drive wdx 12s and the mini a7 2000. Their 85.4 4 channel and memphis PRX comps. Hits hard. I upgraded my battery and decided to do the big 3. I upgraded the batt neg to ground and it got fairly louder. Today I upgraded the batt neg to frame and i got a lot louder. I can barely hit words now. When I do the power wire I can only imagine it'll get significantly louder again. Is this normal? It's literally blurring my vision now. I also had my edge sound deadened, which is already a quiet ride so it's all staying in.

The bigger wires makes your charging syatem more efficient therefore getting more power to your amp letting it run at a more efficient power therfore itll put out more power

The big 3 doesn't give more power. It only gives the power being supplied by the alt to recharge the battery faster more efficiently which in turn sends the power to the amp faster. Not more

Correct a newb if im wrong, but adding even a single battery in the rear is simply not enough. that battery will not even come into play until you've successfully pulled down the alt volts to 12.8ish(secondary batt voltage)

after your volts are pulled down to 12.8v, then the secondary battery will start the conduct amperage and maintain amp load at 12.8 volts. thats only gonna keep your amps powered at 12.8. most cheap amps are rated at 14V output.Dont even have to be a cheap amp per se.

Hence why there are 14v and 16v batteries. both those systems require higher voltage alternators than the battery their charging. Some vehicles require 12v isolation for computer(Honda) , some dont.

although i just started learning, and could be wrong. So feel free to correct anything you feel may be misleading.

You cause be right on this. Had them about a week and a half. Added the power last night and that didn't sound louder but I can imagine event is very stable. I gotta buy one of those outlet voltage meters.
