Big 3...Batt to Alt + ?

Hey...well I got my grounds in....very simple. Anyways my alternator is in the bottom of my **** engine. Anyone come across this and solutions to getting the wire on there.

What exactly is the problem, can you show us a picture or something?

I will get pictures tommorw when it is daylight. The problem is getting to the ALT to bolt the + wire on becuase Caddy decide to be smartass' and put the alt on the bottom of the engine which is not easy to get to.

Word. Just jack the car up, drop the wire down to the bottom and see if you can connect it that way.

Mine's on the bottom passenger side of my engine and the battery is on the top driver side. I still ran it fine. Just slide up under there and do it, if you can't get under the car use jack stands.

Mine is similar. Alt at the bottom on the passenger's side and the battery on the driver's side. There was too much stuff in the way to get at it from the bottom in my case so I had to remove a small heatshield from the alt to let me get at it from the top and then put the wire on the terminal by feel. Tighten the nut down reinstall the shield and route the cable to the battery. Took about an hour.
