I wouldn't worry too much about the alt to batt run. I would put the fuse on the batt to amp run.

I'm using 4awg for the main run, & it's fused @ 150A.

I fused the alt-batt @ 175A, which is what the factory wire is regulated to.

Good enough. I would have ran 1/0 to the back where the amp is, and used a distro block in case you ever want to add subs and an amp for them.

It's a simple install using the factory h/u (it's the RB1 touch screen navi unit made by Alpine, w/ 6 disc cd changer) I also soldered in a aux off my cd changer for my iPod. plays cd's until you plug in the 3.5mm jack, which I mounted on the RB1 trim next to the power button.

I have 2 8'' Sundown SA-8's running off a JL Audio 500/1v2 & 6.5 CDT components/ 5.25 CDT coaxials using an old school ZED 25x4. My main run is 4 gauge, 10ft to the distro then another 2ft 4 gauge to either amp.
