who said i was? or want too? i live a pretty average life..i don't need handouts. Fact of the matter is, the lower class/middle class need help and the only way that'll happen is if the upper class pony up some more bucks. Cut spending too.

I'm in the middle class and don't need the rich to give me anymore tax relief. When I was lower class I would have liked a handout but by no means did I demand the upperclass be overtaxed so I could better survive. I'd rather see the economy expand to give more/better opportunities to those that could use them.

Cutting spending would be awesome too...I just don't see either of the upcoming administrations making that happen, especially Obama.

Yes. I'm dead serious. I'm making 3x the contributions to both this thread, and to this country than you are. Sorry that you don't like the best solution, but I ain't gonna ignore the truth jsut because you do.

If the dems recognize the right to life (as in no abortions) then maybe I will agree to the right to continuation of life, and quality there of, via medicaid and medicare.

If your going to respect life...respect all of it

For the same reason there isn't a human right to owning a car. It is a privledge not a right, and if you **** up, it can be taken away from you. That is how this country works, just so you know.
